Jaeho Kwon is an investment and finance professional whose work spans capital strategy, real estate finance, structured transactions, and cross-border markets. Over roughly eight years in Seoul's investment banking and asset management sector, he built a track record sourcing, structuring, and executing transactions across real estate and structured credit — most recently as a senior manager leading a real estate financing team at a $7B-AUM asset management platform.

His path began at the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China's Seoul banking department, arranging Korea's first syndicated interim mortgage loan by a Chinese bank. He then spent over three years at IBK Securities structuring U.S. real estate financings and fixed-income products for Korean institutional investors, several of whom were mobilizing capital into overseas real estate for the first time. That cross-border lens — matching Asian capital to U.S. and Korean real assets — has remained the throughline of his transaction work.

He is now pursuing an MBA at Duke's Fuqua School of Business, where he serves on the leadership cabinets of the Private Capital, Real Estate, and Blockchain/AI clubs. His MBA work extends that structured-finance background into capital-access research for employee-owned businesses and into how technology and AI are reshaping underwriting and capital-structure analysis.

Jaeho holds a degree in Chinese economy and trade from Hanyang University, including an exchange year at Sun Yat-Sen University in Guangzhou, and began his career in overseas business development connecting Korean suppliers to a major Chinese e-commerce platform. A native Korean speaker, he also speaks Chinese.
